Ruffino Lodola Nuova Riserva 2000
Colour: Deep garnet red. Aroma: Ample and intense with characteristic Sangiovese notes: Delicate floral sensations and lush aromas of red and black berry fruit and cherry jam. The long refining period in wooden casks contributes to making the bouquet pleasantly spicy. Tasting profile: The sweet, velvety tannins and the soft, fruity notes are well integrated with the alcohol and the acidity. The structure is overwhelming, but elegant and the aromatic persistence is long-lingering with notes of sweet tobacco and aromatic herbs.
